This design-build project demolished and replaced the existing heating and ventilation units. We installed condensate drain lines to existing floor drains, and storm drains from each infrared heater unit. The tailpipe lengths for the gas-fired low-intensity infrared heating system were designed for maximum efficiency. The duct branches were laid out so that airflows were naturally balanced to eliminate the need for damper couplings. The units were designed to condition the hangar based on internal temperatures automatically.
